What makes Trisilgard™ safe for the environment?
Trisilgard™ is an environmentally-friendly because it contains no heavy metals, no phenols, no arsenic derivatives, no triclosan and no alcohol. Trisilgard addresses the two main ecological concerns associated with any leaching antimicrobials: bleeding harmful toxins into the environment and the generation of adaptive organisms (super bugs). Trisilgard’s unique physical mode of action, inability to migrate from a treated surface and extraordinarily low toxicity alleviates these ecological concerns making it the obvious choice to minimize environmental contamination and the development of resistant organisms.
Is Trisilgard™ safe to use around children and pets?
Trisilgard™ is water-based making it safe for its intended use. We do recommend removing children and pets from the room or area until the Trisilgard™ application is dry. Trisilgard™ complies with all applicable laws and regulations. For further information, please refer to product label.
How often do I need to reapply Trisilgard™ to surfaces?
Trisilgard™ can be reapplied between cleanings to remove odor-causing bacteria and reduce staining and discoloration occur due to bacteria, mold, and mildew up to 3 months.
Where can I use Trisilgard™?
Because of Trisilgard’s™ unique water-based molecular structure, it can be applied to both porous and non-porous interior and exterior surfaces.
Inside: countertops, cabinets, exterior of appliances, interior walls, carpets, wood and tile floors, bathroom fixtures, clothing, bedding, and more. Outside: siding, decks, play equipment, sporting equipment, brick and concrete walls, roofing, and more.
